In response to Eliud Felix's question on the age for being tried as an adult: I don't think that's a question that any of us should answer. First of all, it isn't fair to boys to set an age, because it is a known fact that girls mature faster than boys. That means that a girl would be more responsible for her decisions at a younger age than a boy. And even though girls mature faster, that still doesn't mean that all girls mature at the same time. I feel that any teen who has committed a major crime should be evaluated by a psychiatrist to see whether or not s/he is mentally stable enough to be accountable for his or her actions. n
