Individuality! MAG

By Anonymous

Something has been puzzling me for quite some time. No matter which way I look, I can't find an answer. I have ash blonde hair, I am about 5'3" and I have blue eyes. There are probably thousands of other people in the world with those characteristics, but none of them is exactly identical to me. None has exactly the same figure, skin tone or appearance that I do. None of them believes in all that I believe, or imagine all that I imagine. None of them possesses every one of my strengths or my weaknesses. None of them has committed each of my wrongs or my rights. I am an individual, and so is everyone else. Yet, people are repeatedly and continually harassed for being different.

If no two people are alike in every way, why is it so difficult for each of us to accept individuality? n
