I would agree with Higgins when he says that we have lost touch with the natural world because of technology. Everywhere a person goes there is technology that is unavoidable. When someone is bored they will go on the computer, text their friends; mostly things that involve technology. A person would choose to stay inside and text rather than enjoy the nature. Even when people go on walks they take cell phones which take away from the full effect of nature. Lots of activities that are outside many people take their cell phone which takes away from the attention of the activity and nature. Technology has taken over nature to humans in many different ways.
