Metaphorically Boomerang
Money is like a boomerang: It can get away from you easily, but unless you have the right touch, it’ll just flop onto the ground and you’ll have to haul rear over to where it landed in order to get it back, if there’s even a chance of getting it back. Y’know, now that I think about it, dogs are like boomerangs are boomerangs as well in that respect. So are nice girls, friends, an internet connection, and pretty much anything else you use by throwing (i.e. baseballs, shot puts, super balls, potatoes etc). Now that I think about it, just about everything you can throw is like a boomerang in that the object in question is unlikely to come back on its own unless you have some sort of mad skills at throwing it.

This is just my opinion. I'm kind of a pessimist at times, and this is a bit of writing that sprung from my pessimistic moods.
