The words that were never spoken
Leave me alone and broken.
Stitch me up, leave a scar
We made it so far
For this, just for this
Now there’s no forgiveness.
I’m stranded in my lake of pain
Waiting for you to explain
Why you broke my heart
And tore us apart.
I’ll never understand just why’
Just let my broken heart cry
Until you disappear
Leaving me here
Wondering why
Your heart had to die.

wow, this is a nice poem. I'd love to hear it spoken instead of reading it off a page, I feel like there's more to this poem than just the words. I can see you have potential in writing, there's no question to that, but I wonder how much experience you've had? You sound young, full of emotion, and that's key in writing. The hardest part of writing a poem is delivering it the right way. your poems are heartbreakers that many teens can relate to, but that's a little bit of the problem. there are so many poems out there exactly like yours sending the same message, and a poet should reach out to give others a new perspective through words. I love your style, I really do, and would like to see you write something of that nature. Keep writing :)

Whoa, this is a really good emotional poem. Almost made me shed a tear there. I love the meaning and rhyming (I love couplets too!). I hope you feel better soon <3
