Thinking of a Way to Say Goodbye
Thinking of a Way to Say Goodbye
I sit here in my room
Trying to think of some way
To say goodbye to you.
It’s really hard to let you go
After thirteen years, but I know
I have to say goodbye to you.
You taught me to be myself
And to have fun no matter what.
Mom, I will always love you no matter what
Because you weren’t just my mom,
You were also my friend.
You were there when I was sick
And took care of me.
It’s hard to let you go, but
I know that I have to.
I’m always going to think of you
To get me through tough times
Because I love you so much.
Goodbye mom, I’ll always remember
The way you were always the goofy girl in the group
And the best mom in the world.
Goodbye Mom.
