Humans of Parsippany Writing
“I am a very spontaneous human being. I just do things without thinking. Like; Oh! This seems like a great idea, I’m going to go for it. I have had a few traumatic experiences; I’ve grown up always being told to do certain things. Like if I spoke my views, my parents would yell at me. That kinda affected how I was toward them. So, I just started going against everything. Just doing whatever came to my head. I literally do everything against them. I act very different around my parents. They just don’t know some of the boundaries they should be setting for themselves. But it’s okay. I speak up against them. I speak up for my siblings. I speak up for myself.” (Denville, New Jersey).

After an interview with my friend, I wanted to write a Humans of New York-esk piece. I'd love any feedback from it.
