Him and Her

He stared at her and she began to cry
both shaking they joined hands.
One year in length since they had last touched.
A drug addicted, a confused young women and
two rosy lips.
Pure as all things good. He didn't always do the things he should, but she kissed his lips and for once there was a happily ever after. He wasn't in a jail cell, and for once they were both free to love and to live the life they knew they could.
