Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you

Bright are you, smile twinkling with the moon, never hushed by the night

Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.


In ashes, in ashes, what we all fall to-

Swift and lithe is death as it strikes- pray grace, and is 

Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you.


Solace not found, til’ the hummingbird's song lays calm to ensue

Though all cannot last, the raven shrieks sorrow at the gods’ somber tears whilst the sun die away- implore

Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.


But roses all rot, days fade to memories of the dew

In fury, in anguish, yielding to mourn 

Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you.


Angels, the angels, they protect what is had, only the few

Who bear their broken souls and plead mercy 

Forbearing wings of the guard, refuse to concede to the ruin once knew.


Left in benign solitude, swallowed sorrow as the world is seen in blue

Sadness and dying, lonesome and crying, mourning seldom lets the heart find relief, for

Benevolent- for ethereal clouds part in wonder of you-
