My way
Here I am
Here I’ll tell you
I lost track of where it all began
Finally accepting reality
As it splatters itself over and over again
It stains my face
Nothing seems to want to work out right
Jump started life so many times
I’ve lost count
Broken down again
Broken down again
Jumping up and down behind
Crowds of blank expression
Look at me, so pathetic
I push to get through this city of twisted souls
We all bleed over these streets
Expect another to wipe up the mess
And continue down the same way
Old cement cracked sidewalk
Dragging my feet right back here
Taking co-ordinate steps
Pulled by hands with ugly aura
When will I let go?
So I can taste the truth
These dreams I’m chasing
Whilst the world’s current spins against me
And the answers spill out wrong
I’ll push my way through crashing seas
Die to live again, take a breath
And hope one day
This will go my way
