Where the Walls Come Together MAG
In the corner of the room
Where the necklace lies upside-down
In asmall crevice where the walls come together.
The diamonds are not makinga path
To guide the impatient searchers
"Hurry ups" echo throughthe halls
As the frenetic teenager scurries about, trying to find herkeepsake.
The days turn into months, the months into years
Thenecklace is nowhere to be found.
The silver chain tarnishes.
Thefamily moves out
And the necklace stays
In a small crevice where the wallscome together.
