Those eyes finally find me
highlights jumping off their coats of gloss
their white sheen fading pink
those eyes
struggling
locking in emotion
their watery sheen thickens
a tension-saturated moment…
and then
the dam breaks down.
Pushing through the broken glass, a
d
r
o
p
l
e
t
crawls,
And this piece of his secret world,
mixes with the earth.
