Heaven's Beside Me

The ground glimmers like
millions of tiny diamonds
scattered
the greeness of lush life
beneath my bare feet
reminds me of heaven
having him beside me makes
feel as if I am in heaven
the blue sky shines down on
us with rays of gold
delight, drowning me in warmth,
still a joyful shiver crashes
through me when his
arm brushes mine,
I blush,
he takes hold of my heart and
puts it away for safe keeping,
I rely on him and i see
that my heart is in good hands
as his smile warms the world
our lips meet and the earth
is at peace with
itself
