Self-Made Man MAG
The very image of the self-made man,
I am the Phoenix, born again of fire,
Enduring since the mind of man began,
I'm always young, never do I retire.
My radiant flame will never expire,
And with the ashes of all knowledge past,
I strive to travel hither, always higher,
Reaching forever, flying high and fast.
The ideas of great men will always last,
And as these same men, which none shall surpass,
I build upon these ashes of the past,
I am the Phoenix, crowned feathers of brass.
Phoenix, bird of fire, symbol of my life,
Posterity's joy, Predecessor's strife.
