Fish Walking The Land MAG
I unfold my eyes and reach back onto shore
I catch you sitting still, painting her again
between us there is rain where its drops have a similarity to wet crystals
I keep one for a memento, but it pours out in my pocket
I turn back to you with boredom
you outline her lips to fit inside of yours
her hand is outreached and I imagine her using it to caress your skin
you are only enlightened by the artwork of this girl and when I dance,
you sigh and tell me to dance some more
on shore I cannot breathe and it's hard to move about
my eyes become unfocused and my skin lacks moisture
our dealings have only to do with everything that means nothing
I crawl to the waves and leave you with her
to lie content with your immortal creature
and never notice my abandonment of you
the water takes me and soaks my dry skin, I dance in the current for the other fish,
pretending that each one is you
