boards and their skaters passing go

sweaters and their preps unraveling in the halls

waves and their surfers rolling on the beach

shoes and their goody two's falling off the apple tree

grunge and their slackers remembering soap

stereotypes and their generations driving me insane

i thought people were supposed to be people

me and my ideas stuck to a label as i'm placed
