The Last Laugh MAG
"You'll never get to sleep tonight!"
Splish
Splash
As they laugh
Oh, and did they laugh so mockingly
Splish
Splash
Again they laughed,
Now it is very disturbing.
So, I flick on the light
And they're out of sight,
Hiding behind plastic plants
So, I flick off the light
and what do I hear?
"Sleep Tonight?
No way,
No how,
No chance!"
Never question the black circles
Under my eyes,
Obviously they were well earned.
Because one quaint little night
I ended their charade ...
... Let's just say,
I eat my fish raw and not burned!
"Now I can get to sleep," I said,
"Because I don't live in their wrath."
And to my surprise
As I closed my eyes
I suddenly began to laugh!
Laugh and laugh
Is all I did.
Now, I know this seems outrageous,
But, know did I not
When I swallowed those fish,
Their laughing was contagious.
To this day,
I leave a request,
Never eat raw goldfish please!
Maybe even now it is safer to say,
leave those sarcastic fish in the seas!
