Who are our true enemies?
What is their purpose?
Are they monsters from outer space?
What is destroying the human race?

Children crying,
People dying,
In sad violent ways,
People everywhere, hurting.

Who are our enemies?
What do they do?Are they crazy wild creatures?
Wanting our doom?

Our enemy is ourselves,
We are destroying everybody else.
Why do we do this to each other,
When we should love one another?

Death, hate, sickness, and crime,
Suffering pain your whole life time.
Harming others is only hurting ourselves.
Why do we choose to do this to us?

Rude comments, a broken heart.
Why do we tear each other apart,
Instead of cheering each other on?
Why do we let differences get in the way?

Prejudice and difference can kill,
Why do we choose to destroy?
Why can’t people just accept it,
And love people for who they are?

Treat people with kindness,
Don’t help to destroy humanity,
Try to love and care for those,
Who can learn to love their foes.
