A Time Well Spent

A second with you puts my eyes at a gaze.
A minute makes my head spin for days.
With just an hour, I forgot how to breathe
A day it takes you to fill my dreams
A week, perfect we were, I just knew
A month and you see how attached we grew
A year goes by and I’m drowning in love
A decade since you and I were even thought of
It wont take me a century to tell you I love you
However, it will take me a generation to forget you
