New World
Darkness is in everyone,
but not always shown,
contstantly waiting to emerge.
If you recede into your little box, Darkness will envelope you.
Creep into every corner of your box,
and you will be trapped.
Suffocated by the darkness forever.
Unless a ray of light,
Pierces through the blackness,
And fights its way into your soul.
Then you may resurrect your spirit,
From the grim darkness
of your box without walls.
Into a new world,
Full of light, hope, and happiness.
In every way different
than the world which you left,
long, long ago.
