Shall I compare Thee to One Perfect Rose?
Shall I compare Thee to One Perfect Rose?
If I were to say she was as a rose,
So very beautiful and delicate.
Or even as a bird I do suppose,
Soaring so high, so very eligate.
Even an angel with wings spread out far,
Cannot compare to her blonde golden hair.
I could be as a guard, with arms ajar
Watching and waiting, I'll always be there.
Yet unlike a rose, an angel or bird,
You will not fade in and out with the time.
To think of this though is rather obsurd,
For the thought of you leaving is a crime.
The last words you said were, "I do love you",
If I could just say, "I do love you too."
