Here I wait
I am being carried away
Far away through mountains and rivers
Through the wind and the rain
Once a ray of hope for others
They did not welcome me
They have welcomed the darkness
Not the beginning of a new day
So I travel from place to place
From soul to soul
Hoping to find a place in their heart
That was made just for me
Their hearts are always blocked off though
Never allowing me in
So I begin another journey
Though each time I travel
My light grows dimmer
Until one day
I will be darkness itself
