The Hope To Breathe
In a biased world,
Full of intolerance and tragedy.
A world of murderers and innocents.
In this world we are lost,
Lost in helplessness and prejudice.
I wonder how long it will take,
To heal the lost at heart.
Look upon us with sympathy,
That will never change a thing.
Our discrimination will not end,
The lost at heart will not mend.
But in this awful honesty:
We can find the hope to breathe.
