"An eye for an eye leaves the world blind" -Ghandi

Wake me in an hour,
when the terrors have dispersed.
Wake me in an hour,
when starvation has ended;
when the poverty has been long gone.
Wake me when the integrity has been grown.

I want to know when people grow a backbone;
to stand;
to stand for what they know;
for what they know is true.

I want to wake to a world,
a true and green world
a leafy and healthy world.

I want to see people grow just as trees do.
I want to see the innocents of children in the minds of adults.
I want to wake to a world of faith.

A world of FAITH?
What is that

A world of INTEGRITY?
What is that

A world of TRUST?
What is that

A world of this or that...
I want to wake to a NEW world.

A world that hasn't been damaged by the greediness of man.
A world that knows no “boundries”
...or laws...
...or even...
...hate...

Wake me when I can open my eyes to see God.
When I can smell the sweet aroma of the woods, or the ocean, or even fresh flowers.
Wake me when I can feel the soft tender touch of grass brush against me skin.
Wake me when I can breathe...

Breathe with clean and fresh AIR going in my lungs.
NOT TOXINS.

I want to wake to a world like that.
