Best Friends
You read my thoughts as if they were your own
You always remind me that I’m never here alone
Day after day night after night we never left each other’s sight
Although we may have many differences we rarely ever fight

The smallest things make us burst out with laughter
No matter how stupid they seemed to us after
But when it comes time to start being serious
You make me realize when I’m too delirious

Sisters forever and ever, it was the promise we made
You helped me to have high hopes and never let my dreams fade
We called each other twins though everyone else couldn’t agree
You're my best friend and I know you will always be there for me
