Her Man
She sits up waiting-looking out her window
Contemplating-wondering why the night is so slow.
She has a decision to make and it's tearing her apart.
She can't choose who she loves the most because they equally share her heart.
Neither love is untrue; both loves are real
Both loves make her happy; she loves how they make her feel
But right now her heart is heavy carrying them around like this for so long
She tries to leave them behind for a while, but she can not for by her heart she is bound
No matter where she goes or what she does
The two loves of her life are always near
She loves them both
And loosing either one of them is her biggest fear
She knows she can only have one
And no matter what either one will do
But still with loves like this
It's hard to choose
It's getting late so she lays her head down on her pillow
Heavy heart in hand
She's still looking for a sign that will point out her man
