Dream

Running carefree,
through the many trees.
Now the scream earsplitting,
I go from running to sprinting.
But the source can't be found,
of the saddening sound.
Heart beating,
pulse racing.
As I jump over a stream, I realize it's all just a dream.
Now I open my eyes,
and I sigh.
