Gone
You said you’d that you’d never die
Yet here you are
Summer’s gone and winter’s here
Snow falls soft like tears
And I’m alone again
Lost in the wake of your memory
What am I to do when all the world
Comes crashing down
And all I’m left is false hope-
Life’s empty shell
I can dream no more
The days have grown long and dark
With the remnants of your shadow
I can’t go on living in a life
Full of broken promises
Wishing for tomorrow to end
