Wrapped in a pretty detailed material and tied with a joyful bow
Sitting under the tree so still why outside some lay in the snow


Putting a smile on a little kids face and the parents with a look of grace
I think it’s a preppy ballet shoe with a pink satin lace


Or maybe a crystal necklace tie that hangs from the ceiling
It was wrapped tight with no wrinkle so it wouldn’t have any peeling


Waiting for Christmas to come so it can get ready for birthdays in the summer
Maybe it’s a teddy bear with a duffle bag boy drummer
