I am a gymnast
I am a gymnast.
I wonder if I will ever make it to the Olympics.
I hear the creaking sound of the uneven parallel bar.
I sea the joy on my teammates faces when they nail a routine.
I want to be able to do a backhand spring one day.
I am a gymnast.
I pretend I am a world class gymnast, which helps me prepare for my meets.
I feel good when I get a good score.
I touch the beam with my feet as I try not to fall off.
I worry that I might split the beam.
I cry sometimes after a meet if I got a lower score then I had hoped for.
I am gymnast.
I understand that sometimes in meets I won’t get as good of score as I wanted.
I say congratulations when my teammates get a high score.
I dream that I am in the Olympics doing a floor routine in front of lots of people.
I try new gymnastics moves though they might be scary.
I hope that someday I will be in a really high level like level ten.
I am a gymnast.
