On a Hilltop
On a lonely hill not too far away.
Surrounded by those who where loved so dear.
When the trumpet sound rang in their ears. There that grand old flag sits forever still.
The flag was hung when the battle had begun. And the boys began to march too and fro,
kissing their mothers as they go.
The call of honor is at their backs
As they proudly raised a hand to their hats.
