There is a grace well known to man,
That God gave us through
The blood of a Lamb.
This lamb that died upon a tree,
Gave his life for you and for me.
Perfect and sinless upon the cross,
He suffered through all the pain and loss.
A crown of thorns he bore on his head,
His precious blood on the cross was shed,
He did it of his own free will,
So that man on earth could escape from hell.
This Lamb took the punishment of our sin,
Because in heaven sin cannot enter in.
He made a way for you and for me,
So forever in heaven with him we will be.
The only thing that you have to do,
Is receive this gift that is offered to you,
Realize you’re a sinner, repent of your sins,
Believe in God’s Word and the victory you’ll win.
Nothing in the world can compare to God’s love,
For he sent his Son to die from heaven above.
