Glide
Scratches,
On a marble.
Yet it still glides on the level ground.
Cracks,
On the ground.
Yet it still has foundation.
Rips,
On a blanket.
Yet it still gives warmth.
People,
With scratches on their faces.
Cracks on their soul and esteem.
Rips in their hearts.
Yet they still live.
Friends, healing their scratches.
Family, healing their soul.
Love, healing their hearts.
Help the marble. Push it further on the ground.
Repair the ground. Fill it's
cracks on the earth.
Fix the blanket. Sew it back together with your hands.
The person that seems wide awake, might just want to sleep.
Don't let that marble stop rolling.
