Today I had a horrible day.
I fell and skinned my knee.
I felt so sick I did not want to stay.
I am glad I stayed because today a bee befriended me.

People think I stick out.
I have tiny ears so people leer.
I have learned not to pout.
I try not to shed a tear.

I was sitting under a tree all alone.
When suddenly I heard a voice.
There was also a small drone.
It said I had a choice.

The choice was either buck up or go home.
"Life is supposed to be happy
No one is meant to be alone."
I looked to my left and there was a bee.

Small and chubby
We talked about lots of things under the tree.
He soon became my buddy.
That is why I am glad I did not leave because a bee befriended me.
