A Glimpse At Recovery
i sit there,
staring out the window tears streaming down my face,
holding a piece of shiny sharp metal.
and the tears keep falling,
nothing to catch them as they hit the floor,
nothing in my system; every drug on my mind,
the ability to use was taken; im left feeling even emptier inside
the metal falls from my grip; it never got the chance to meet my skin.
and the tears keep falling,
the candle keeps burning; the music keeps playing,
and im left lying on the floor
