My passion, my art, my creativity
All lies in the power of my mind
My paper and my pen
Are my easel and paintbrush
The words creep out
But not fast enough
Prodding my thoughts
New ideas come to light
Hiding in the shadows
And revealing their faces
Collectively stringing together
Beginning to have meaning
Because no one will understand
If I don’t expose how I feel
It’s my only voice
My god given talent
Without it I’d be unknown
I’ll show a different side of me
