Living on the threshold of life
Delegate as the soft pedals on a flower
With the face of an angel in heaven
With the movement of a butterfly without wings
With the touch of a smooth silk cloth
With crying eyes as wide as the world
Watching, waiting to cling to one to call its own
Growing, changing into the being it will soon become.
