Do I mean anything to you?
Does anything I do please you?
Will I ever be good enough for you?

You don't know me,
Yet you think you have the right to judge me.

Do I mean anything to you?
Will I ever be more than the wicked witch you must beat in your mind?
Do you realize how hurt I am because of you?

I will never be your 'daddy's little princess'
I guess I'll never earn your respect.
I'll never mean anything to you,
And this I've come to realize.

wow----when i read this poem, i hurt. It hurt thinking that anyone could feel this way.

I love my dad----perhaps even more then my mom. So these words.......they're like a punch in my gut

...one word from you will silence me forever. If, however, your feelings have changed, I will have to tell you: you have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love....I love...I love you. I never wish to be parted from you from this day on. -Mr. Darcy

Oh man....this is an intense piece.  I'm sorry if you've had to deal with this....a father should be someone you can trust to accept you no matter what! The emotions in this poem are fantastic!
