Ocean waves, building in the distance
The red buoy, bobbing up and down
The beautiful cold, shimmering water
This is my favorite time of the year
It’s vacation time, in the summer
Just like vacation,
The waves always come to an end
They build up and get better and better
Then it all just stops
I really wish we could stay.
But I know I’ll be back next year
But it’s so hard to wait
