On this sheet of paper
With its little blue lines
Its faded red margin
Its 3 ripped holes

With this chewed up pencil
With its chipping wood
Its worn out eraser
Its dull graphite
I need you to realize
From this stupid heart
With its pathetic scars
Its idiocy
Its stressful imperfections
I'm sorry I can't be
What you want me to be
I'm sorry I'm so wrong when
I don't know how to be right
I wish I could be perfect
