Call
Every night there was a phone call.
Every night, without fail, one simple
call was made.
It would last from one minute to six
hours,
Depending on how hurt the other was.
In those phone calls,
They would help each other
Help to grow,
Help to live,
Help to love,
They shared everything,
Hopes, Dreams, and Stupid
Conversations.
One night, the phone stopped ringing.
One night the boy did not hear what
the girl thought or felt.
One night left her lonely, confused,
and hurting.
That one night changed it all,
And she never expected a phone call
again.
