Dichotomy
She’s inches away to talk to
And yet she’s miles away to hold
She doesn’t know the truth; she won’t
Because I can’t change the past; I won’t
I’ve made mistakes
But none like this, O’ none like this
My mistakes have pushed her away
Her mistakes have brought me closer
One day I will tell her
One day she will listen
Inches away, miles away
For her sake, for mine
Only then will we clearly see
Our love is simply a dichotomy
