Easy to Shun
It's easy to shun, he is just a gay
He's not like us that makes it okay.
Too easy to jump back and act all surprised,
Though the answer was staring you straight in the eyes.
Tell him its wrong, Tell him to change, Tell him again,
Tell him its not right for men to like men.
The look in his eyes is like that of prey,
as the key turns behind him he is banished away
his room is a cave no playboy adorned
no longer his home he lives a life scorned
under the carpet and there to stay
his family won't know him because he is gay
Is it just stage? oh! dont be naive
he's not who he was, that i beleive
no, dad, its me, it was there all along
im free, im happy, nothing is wrong.
accept? you must jest! i cannot do
but i am who i am, i must be true
he yearned for a tomorrow
but for him it was not
through the mouth he found the best shot
