The leap of faith
The road is mysterious place for the leaping frog,
Because it belongs in the pond,
When a frog escapes and jumps out in the middle of the street
There is no escape but a casual leap to the next chapter of life
Frogs
Leaping on turtles like they are lily pads
Gracefully down the street
Watch out for the water
Or even for the trucks
For if you fail, you die.
Another life
Another frog
To be doomed to the same fate
Jumping, jumping, jumping,
But never succeeding
