What Sun can Do
On your face,
The rays rise and fall against the faucets of your skin,
Yellow warmth,
Glowing with pride and coating a brilliant sheen on the snow,
My skin sparkles in the light of the soft February sun,
Thinking of steaming summer days,
A blue dragonfly pushed by the lake’s wind, waltzing to nature’s music,
Cotton sheets relax on my bed,
Something is sleepy and quiet about today,
No need to hurry-
The world can wait a little longer.
