Tears
Tears
The warm tears fill your eyes
You try to hold it back
You can feel it in your throat
The slight pressure as you swallow
It's hard to say what brought you to this point
But you know you can't hold out much longer
More tears fill your eyes
You blink, a tear falls
Then another, and another
Soon you're sobbing
And the tears keep flowing
Taking with them a piece of your sadness
Your anger, your pain
They keep falling until there's nothing left
The tears are gone
And so is the pain
