Death
Time stands still,
The hourglass has stopped,
The ticking has died down,
Nothing,
Nothing happens,
Silence falls as the soul leaves the body,
It rises up to what ever awaits it,
Then a scream can be heard as someone finds the body,
People rush as time starts again,
Ticking ferociously as if there weren’t enough,
Emotions pour out one after another,
Sorrow,
Anger,
Hate,
Love,
Rivers flow from their eyes as the reality of the death hits them,
Questions arouse of how it could be true,
Peoples glowing light flicker as darkness posses them,
Then time dies down again and they realize the truth,
They loved him.
And even though he wont be walking through the door any longer,
He is still there,
Smiling from above.
