If Only You Knew
I am hurt.
I allow people to push me around,
When people joke on me, I don’t make a sound.
I am already insecure,
And I cannot find a cure.
So my feelings get hurt all the time.
I guess being nice is a crime.
Just because I won’t fight back,
Doesn’t mean that I lose track.
Because all those things you said to me,
Is already stuck in my memory.
And just so you know,
These memories just grow.
So when you treat me like dirt,
I hope you know that it hurts.
