My Death
Walking in a field, what do I see?
Something dark, cold and shadowy.
I start to follow,
Not knowing me it would swallow.
It walked, and so did I.
Not knowing it would be my demise.
It went into a dark cave.
And so in I went, acting brave.
I was a fool,
Who was almost completely drowned by its drool.
So off I ran,
Back into the land.
Until I came to a stop,
At a very long drop.
I turned around to see,
Not a beast, nor a monster,
But a figure copying me.
When I moved, it moved.
When I hid, it hid.
So when i jumped, so did it.
