Not So Numb
As she lays on her bed
Looking for the right words
To put her thoughts onto paper,
She realizes
That she can't think straight
So many things
Wanting desperatly
To get out
From deep inside
Where she hides
Her true feelings,
Thoughts,
Herself
Unrequited love,
Restricted feelings
Everything
Just screaming in her ears
And she can't stop it
Her head bangs
Stomach pounds
Every inch of her
Wanting nothing
But to simply give up
This though,
She will never allow
Her mission has to be bigger
She thinks
It can't be so easy
This thought
Is the only thing that keeps her alive
